In response to market demands CODA has taken some popular monoski shapes and added CODA style to them! The first ski to be released is the Sidewinder.The 4x4 binding insert package for non-release bindings comes standard, but we will accomodate any hole pattern you need. Check your preferred bindings and contact us if you need a different configuration.

This is a great ski for giant GS riding, but it also handles well in the steeps and the bumps. This is a ski for aggressive riders who like to go fast!

CODA recommends Bomber Elite Non-Release skiboard bindings for exceptional performance. Add them to your board purchase when configuring your custom board order to get them at the board-combo discount price. We also offer the snowboard hole pattern option. With this model, the metal dampening option comes standard with the regular purchase price.

Construction: Horizontal laminate wood core, 22 oz triax glass, aluminum alloy, and the CODA hybrid cap/sidewall construction.

We think there is no „one fits all“ monoski.

Though a professional skier will be able to ride „everything“, we wouldn't recommend to buy a soft, easy beginners model, that surely will be boring, soon or even worse, wouldn't stand the stress that a pro will give to the mono.

Vice versa most monoski models that are for „the fast and furious“ will give a beginner a real hard time.

We ask the manufacturer to recommend this monoski model for a certain „range“ from first try to a pro skier. So we do ask our members, when they rate and review. Compare the opinions (like all other values on this page)..

Its looks are that of a traditional monoski but the graphics choices make it stand out amongst the others that are out there! (A+)

This ski is also very light weight. (A+)

The non-release bindings definitely have their advantage. (A)

This ski is designed for those that wish to have a combination of the “side slipping” and those huge, long, sweeping, deep carving turns that leave trenches across the groomers. This ski did mesh those two styles together and it turned out to be fun! (A+)

This ski is most definitely made to be skied with your weight in the center or slightly forward. Any weight on the tail and it gets looser than Courtney Love! (A)

This ski also reacted well in all of the snow conditions I experienced. (A+)

Overall … SUPER FUN but tricky*!!!

*”Tricky” means: With the particular camber this ski has the “sweet spot” is directly under the center of your feet and it sometimes makes it feel as though it is high centered. It’s not a bad thing. It’s just that it’s different than anything I have ever skied on and took some getting used too but it didn’t take that much to adapt. It did seem that with this camber it did make the transition from side to side faster with less effort than the V-O-XL.*
